Day 2

Hello Everybody! We hope everything is going well in the States (roll tide). Today was our first day working with the children, and each moment was filled with snotty noses and bright smiles. It was a blessing for us to be able to set up kids clubs in the morning and teen clubs in the afternoon both in Capricorn and Overcome Heights. One of the most meaningful sights was seeing the juxtaposition of the resilient children and the dilapidated living conditions. It is amazing to see the joy of the children and the perseverance of the living hope staff. We're looking forward to bringing in more kids each day and hopefully building relationships not only between ourselves and the children but the children and God. On a side note, we had time after our hard day of work to visit the beach and have an incredible team bonding moment. Let's just say we put Francie's cheerleading skills and Deanna's centrifuge training into practice; more information coming to you July 4th.

Love,
Julia Adams and Caroline Williams

If you cannot tell, we really enjoy jump pictures.  You will be getting an assortment of them this week!
P.S. We were not allowed to take our cameras onto the site so the pictures today are from our free time.
